AARF Dog Adoption Agreement/Application

Adopting a dog is a major decision. Too many dogs end up in shelters because people aren’t prepared. Please read through this application before submitting, as ALL fields must be filled out in order to process it.

Dogs are not adopted on a first come basis. Our mission is to make the best match for both the dog/puppy and their potential adopter. Once an online application is submitted and reviewed, and you have visited the dog at an adoption fair, we will contact you regarding the next steps. Because the adoption process includes a home visit, the applicant must be within a 45-minute radius of AARF. 

Please consider the following:

We do our best to provide you with an accurate description of a dog's age, breed, health and temperament. HOWEVER we do not always have the full history on a dog and therefore we are unable to guarantee anything about the dog you rescue. Dogs and puppies pee, poop, chew, bark, need time, exercise and training. Are you ready and willing to take on this responsibility?
